Tackling Sustainability Challenges

At Eneri Platforms, we believe that by working together, we can address critical and underserved environmental and economic sustainability challenges.

Climate change and its growing impact on society represent a significant global threat and Zambia is no exception.

Our plantation out-grower program aims to increase the incomes of our partner smallholder farmers while encouraging the adoption of environmentally responsible conservation farming techniques.

With a diversely skilled team, Eneri Platforms is proud to have real expertise on the particular sustainability problem and aims to tackle it comprehensively and collectively. Our agenda is in line with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Partnerships and Stewardship

The Tree Growers Project was conceived in conjunction with lead private timber manufacturer Copperbelt Forestry Company (CFC), and aims to address one of Zambia’s biggest forestry industry problems - insufficient harvestable trees. This innovative out grower plantation project is co-funded by the European Union (EU) through Self Help Africa under the Enterprise Zambia Challenge Fund (EZCF).

Our Partners

Strategic Risk Management

Growth and innovation are fundamental to the success of Eneri Platforms. Equally important is understanding and managing the risks associated with our business and clients. Eneri Platforms operates a Three Lines of Defense Model which aligns with the expectations of our partner farmers, shareholders, and regulators.

Our strategy ensures that all partner farmers have legal rights to operate under our out-grower program, have sites that are suitable, and provide sufficient evidence of financial returns.
